The Foundation

Gebran Tueni Foundation strives to carry Gebran's message forward in all fields through expositions, lectures, seminars and roundtables, thus working toward the realization of its goals through studies, promotion of talents in various fields, and honoring the memory of all martyrs of press and of the nation by establishing sites that contribute to the enhancement of the collective memory.

Who We Are

Gebran Tueni Foundation was established in December 2010 by family members: Myrna El-Murr Abu Charaf, Lina Ghariyos, Siham Tueni, Nayla Tueni and Michelle Tueni, for socio-cultural purposes, namely to support the dreams of the youth. The Gebran Tueni Foundation also includes honorary members who were friends of Gebran Tueni and close to him. These members, who enrich the foundation with their presence and ideas, are Leila Solh Hamadeh, Boutros Harb, Robert Ghanem, Ali Ghandour, Marwan Hamadeh, Michel El-Murr, Amine Maalouf, Patrick Forestier, Randa Takieddine, Walid Abboud, Nabil Bou Mounsef, Abdo Chakhtoura, Rose Choueiry,Sami Khayat and  Ghassan Hajjar.

It also has a Board of Trustees composed of Shirine Abadallah, Samir Tueni, Sabine Boutros, Ziad Tueni, Bassam Tueni, Roula Mouawad, Joseph Bou Nassar, Wadih Tueni, Ghassan Khnaisser, Samir Abdel Masih, Zeina Bassil Chamoun, Michel Sayegh, Imad Tueni and Khalil Chammas.

Mission

The Foundation strives to carry Gebran's message forward in all fields through expositions, lectures, seminars and roundtables, in order to encourage talents in all areas through training and studies, and honoring the memory of all martyrs of press and of the nation by establishing sites that contribute to the enhancement of the collective memory. The Foundation coordinates with other organizations to raise awareness among the youth about the problems they might face, and motivate them to read, debate and interact in schools and universities, and, in the footsteps of Gebran Tueni, encourage young artists through the organization of concerts and competitions. The Foundation has also several projects in the making.

Christmas Recital

18 December 2012
The Gebran Tueni Foundation presents a Christmas Recital Recital in Saint-Elias Church- Antelias at 8:00 pm on the 18th of December with Abir Nehme. Entrance is free of charge.
